I can't believe Boston is cheaper as far as real estate or general operating costs. Plus, I don't think the proximity to clients is a big deal these days. Most stuff is remote and they're already close enough to Boston, they can head into town any time easily enough.
I was thinking of commuting in another day. He is not very mobile so I have purchased a wheelchair. If we wanted to see so something else in Boston from Providence, from what I could tell, take a train to South station snd take a T train from there.
From the rush hour congestion perspective, investment in the Providence/Stoughtonline and the Boston to Lynn segment may make very good sense. However, it is entirely unclear whether electrification with use of EMUs is the most direct path to reduced congestion.
