The Reno-Sparks area continues to evolve, and as Northern Nevada grows, so does its commercial and retail landscape. From new shopping destinations to major infrastructure improvements and tech-forward industrial projects, there’s no shortage of exciting development ahead.
· According to the timeline included in the staff report, all four new proposed residential buildings would start construction at the same time in June 2025. Estimated Completion: June 2027 for multifamily projects; November 2026 for the Outpost retail space.
· The City of Reno Planning Commission has approved a tentative map for a new housing subdivision in south Reno. The new neighborhood would be located along Veterans Parkway and South Meadows Parkway and include just under 200 single-unit two story detached family homes.
Developmentprojects often involve infrastructure improvements, including transportation upgrades, public space enhancements, and utility upgrades. These improvements benefit the downtown area and positively impact the surroundingneighborhoods and business districts.
