If you want a subscription to Xchange, email a completed Xchange Subscription Agreement to the Administrative Office of the Courts at xchange@utcourts.gov. After approving and setting up the account, we will reply via email with login and payment instructions (usually within 48 business hours).
· Utah has a convenient and robust online courtfiling system that provides public access to court records, but that access comes at a cost that's now going up.
· Utah'sXchangecourt record fees will rise on July 1. Search fees increase from $0.15 to $0.35, and downloads double to $1. Fee hikes aim to offset a shortfall in Xchange funding.
· Once your account is approved, you may submit filings electronically to Utah district courts, justice courts, and appellate courts, as applicable, and receive service and notices through the system.
Upon a filing of an affidavit of indigency under Section 78A-2-302 with any Utahcourt by a prisoner, the court shall review the affidavit and make an independent determination based on the information provided whether court costs and fees should be paid in full or be waived in whole or in part.
· Fees are payable to the court or office that provides the record, information, or service at the time the record, information, or service is provided. The initial and monthly subscription fee for public online services is due in advance.
Images of public documents filed in district court cases are available for purchase on Xchange. Information is complete for all courts since they began using CORIS, the case management system.
