NVAPPS Instructions Welcome to the State of Nevada’s online recruiting system, NVAPPS. This page will provide you with some general instructions on how to use the system in three easy steps:
Please navigate to the NVAPPS website to complete your application for State of Nevadaemployment opportunities. Please follow this link: https://nvapps.state.nv.us/NEATS/Recruiting/ViewJobsHome.aep2 and click on the orange button to get started by creating your profile.
If you need the link, please go to NEATS and you can find the internal link on your homepage. All state employees already have an account that was established. Creating another account may result in not being properly considered for promotional recruitments.
The StateofNevada publishes several different types of recruitment announcements (i.e., unclassified and classified). You are strongly encouraged to view each occupational group listed below to ensure you are aware of all the employment opportunities available to you.
IMPORTANT: If you are an existing State employee or an external user of the NEATS Training module, you do not need to register again. If your email address has already been registered and you have forgotten your login credentials, contact the HR Help Desk at (775) 687-9099 or toll-free at (866) NVNEATS and select option 2 for assistance.
Once a person has completed their applicant profile in NEATS, he/she is then able to apply online to receive consideration for open positions. This procedure details the steps necessary to search and apply for positions that appear in the NEATSrecruiting system.
