· System Overview JBC-P (Joint Battle Command-Platform) provides near-real-time situational awareness, friendly forcetracking (FFT), and mission command capabilities at the tactical level.
The Marine Corps participation in the MOT &E demonstrated effective interoperability between the Marine Corps battalion to Army brigade, and from the Marine Corps battalion to Army battalion command echelons.
The Army and Marine Corps intend the JBC-P Battle Command Product Line to provide the following critical battlefield capabilities to vehicle platforms and dismounted Soldiers/Marines:
Analysis of Joint Battle Command – Platform (JBC-P) Army programs, testing results, and deficiency corrections. Includes JBC-P Log and cybersecurity updates.
MMC provides a common user-experience that enables leaders to lead and fight within their formations from anywhere on the battlefield. MMC-S was approved for full deployment in October 2023.
· Army, Marine Corps, and Special Operations Forces commanders use JBC-P to provide integrated, on-the-move, near real-time battle command information and situational awareness from brigade to maneuver platform to dismounted Soldiers/Marines.
