To change your password: 1 - Login to your MiWAM account. 2 - Go to Settings. 3 - Click the Profile tab. 4 - Click on Change Password 5 - Type in your old password. Create a strong new password following the instruction on the the screen and then confirm the new password. Rules for setting the new password: It should be at least 8 characters.
Once the MILogin for Citizens registration process is complete and you have associated your MILogin with your MiWAM account, you will always access MiWAM through MILogin for Citizens.
A: From the log in page, click on “Having troublelogging in?” A social security number and date of birth are required to retrieve your username. You will not be allowed to continue if the information is not provided. Once you have been identified, you will be allowed to resetyourpassword.
If you have forgotten yourPassword or have been locked out of your account, click on the “Forgot your Password” link and Type your Username in the empty field.
You will be asked to enter your current User ID, select a security option to verify your identity, and enter a new password to reset the forgotten password. If you are unable to reset the password from that link, you may contact Unemployment Insurance at 1-866-500-0017 or Michigan.gov/MiLogin.
· If you’ve forgotten your login credentials, use the “Forgot Username” or “Forgot Password” links on the login page. Follow the prompts to reset your credentials.
Beginning in July, employers and third-party administrators will notice a change that will require a new password for MiWAM accounts every 90 days. After July 1, users will be automatically asked to change their password every 90 days. Currently, a passwordreset is required every six months.
