The MichiganDepartment of NaturalResources is dropping an application and drawing process for fall turkey licenses. Instead, licenses will be sold first-come, first-served, online or through the DNR’s Hunt Fish app.
SPECIES Whitetail deer, Turkey, Waterfowl, and small game are authorized species available to hunt during MI-DNR published seasons and with appropriate licensing. Coyote hunting is not authorized. Trapping of any species must receive approval through FCTC-ENV and FCTC-CDR.
And, after a recent rulechange, according to the 2021 MichiganDNRHuntingDigest, it is now legal to hunt fox and coyote from a raised platform at night as well. Hunter orange is not required when a predator hunter is stationary, but must be worn when the hunter is travelling afoot.

MIDNRhuntingregulations mentions an exception is in place for zone 3 that is open to all firearms. Does that mean one could use a bushmaster 450 during the upcoming muzzleloader season in lower MI? Does anyone have a hard copy of the regulations on this?
