So far ninja remote has worked fine for me without issues, though still very early in the testing.
I noticed it doesn't have remote printing (not an issue for techs, but is an issue for end user's.
Another alternative is remote utilities, it has a client (the pc used to remote control another machine) and host software to be installed, is free (but the client is limited to 10 hosts.
