CU employees enjoy at least 11 paid holidays a year. For employees of campuses observing alternate holidayschedules, the alternate schedules are used in the application of all provisions of the holiday leave rules for classified employees.

Appointing authorities (CU Anschutz Chancellor) may designate alternative holidayschedules for the fiscal year. Classified employees will receive the equivalent of the full complement of eleven (11) State holidays for the fiscal year.

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus policy on Holidays establishes the parameters for all common and alternate holidays across the different employee locations and units. An updatedDenver Campus HolidayPolicy is in development.
