An Alliance is a group of up to 30 Summoners. They can be created for 100 Units, and all members gain access to Alliance Events, Alliance Quests, and Alliance Wars. There are three ranks in an Alliance: Leader, Officer, and Member. The Leader has the most authority in an alliance, and can promote, demote or kick any other Officers or Members in the Alliance. Officers are Members that are promoted by the Leader, and can kick Members from the Alliance, but not the Leader or other Officers. Members are all Summoners who are not Leaders or Officers, and do not hold any special power. In the event that a Leader leaves the Alliance, then an Officer is automatically promoted to Leader. The Leader can also promote an Officer to be the new Leader, which automatically demotes themselves to Officer. If a Leader is inactive for more than a month, they will be automatically demoted and an active Officer will be promoted to be the new Leader. Growing a new alliance is difficult, as recruitment is competitive. To join an Alliance, you can go to the 'Alliance' tab and scroll through the recommended options, or you can go to the global chat. The global chat frequently has leaders and officers looking to recruit new members. Alliance can have an 'Open', 'By Request', or 'Closed' status: 'Open' Alliances allow anyone to join freely, 'By Request' Alliances allow players to join after their request has been approved by a Leader or Officer, or if they accepted an invite sent by a Leader or Officer, and 'Closed' Alliances do not allow new members to join.
